Our Mission
Our mission is to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, promote humane canine treatment, advocate for high animal welfare standards, and foster positive human-canine interactions across local communities.
Our identity
We are a member-governed, non-commercial canine welfare association working across Lithuanian communities — bringing owners, trainers, veterinary advisors and volunteers together around humane, evidence-based care.
Our mission is to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, promote humane canine treatment, advocate for high animal welfare standards, and foster positive human-canine interactions across local communities.
Our vision is a compassionate society where all companion animals are treated with dignity, owners possess the knowledge for responsible care, and local communities embrace safe and healthy animal co-existence.
Three principles govern every decision taken by the board, our members and our volunteers.
Prioritizing the health, safety, and humane treatment of all companion animals.
Empowering pet owners with evidence-based behavioral and health education.
Operating with total administrative integrity under Lithuanian non-profit legal frameworks.
Officially Registered Non-Profit Association (Asociacija) in Lithuania (Registration Code: 193123560).

Šiaulių šunų mylėtojų klubas is governed by its statute and by the resolutions of the General Meeting of Members, in full compliance with the Law on Associations of the Republic of Lithuania. Our executive board is elected for a fixed term and serves without remuneration; no member, officer or advisor receives any distribution of the association's assets or income.
All registration data — legal name, legal entity code 193123560, legal form (Asociacija) and registered office at Draugystės g. 8C Kaunas, 51264 Kauno m. sav., Lithuania — are filed and maintained with the State Enterprise Centre of Registers (Registrų centras). Annual reports and financial statements are submitted as required by Lithuanian law, and the board keeps minutes of all meetings and resolutions.
Any surplus generated from voluntary contributions is applied exclusively to the association's statutory public-benefit purposes: canine welfare, humane education and community outreach. Verification bodies may request our registry extract, statute and latest activity report from the office contacts listed on this site.
