Our commitment

Šiaulių šunų mylėtojų klubas (legal entity code 193123560) is committed to ensuring that our public information is available to every visitor, including people who use assistive technology. We treat digital accessibility as part of our public-benefit duty, not an optional extra.

Conformance standard

This website is designed and maintained to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and with the accessibility requirements applicable to public information in the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union.

Measures we take

  • Full keyboard operability, with a clearly visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • Text and interface colours chosen for sufficient contrast against their backgrounds.
  • Form fields with permanently visible labels, descriptive error messages and announced status updates.
  • Meaningful alternative text on informative images and hidden decorative graphics from screen readers.
  • Responsive, zoomable layouts that remain usable at 200% text size and on small screens.
  • Icons drawn as scalable vectors so they stay sharp and legible when enlarged.

Known limitations

  • Documents supplied by partner institutions (for example school programme sheets) may not always meet the same standard; we will provide an accessible alternative on request.
  • Photographs contributed by members are reviewed before publication to ensure descriptive alternative text is added.
