Our non-profit programmes

Every programme below is non-commercial and open to the public. Activities are financed through voluntary contributions and delivered by members, volunteers and professional advisors giving their time.

Programme 01

Responsible Pet Ownership & Public Seminars

Conducting community educational lectures on pet nutrition, basic training, bite prevention, and legal owner obligations.

What the programme includes

  • Free, open-to-all evening lectures delivered by club trainers and invited veterinary advisors.
  • Nutrition and life-stage feeding guidance for puppies, adults and senior dogs.
  • Bite prevention and de-escalation practice for families, couriers and municipal workers.
  • Plain-language briefings on Lithuanian owner obligations: identification, registration, leash and muzzle rules, and public-space etiquette.

Programme 02

Canine Welfare, Health & Safety Guidelines

Distributing educational guides regarding proper vaccination routines, humane housing, and mental stimulation for working and companion dogs.

What the programme includes

  • Printed and downloadable guides reviewed by licensed veterinary professionals before release.
  • Vaccination and parasite-prevention schedules, plus guidance on recognising early signs of illness or pain.
  • Humane housing standards: shelter, temperature, space, enrichment and never-tethered principles.
  • Mental stimulation and rest planning for working, sporting and companion dogs.

Programme 03

Volunteer Community Outreach & Shelter Support

Mobilizing community volunteers to assist local animal welfare causes, organize donation drives, and support adoption awareness.

What the programme includes

  • Volunteer teams supporting local shelters with walking, socialisation and facility work days.
  • Seasonal donation drives for food, bedding, transport crates and veterinary supplies.
  • Adoption awareness days held with municipal partners and local shelters.
  • Volunteer induction covering safe handling, hygiene, and welfare-first conduct.

Programme 04

Youth & School Educational Workshops

Partnering with local education centers to teach school-aged children safe interaction techniques and empathy toward animals.

What the programme includes

  • Age-appropriate classroom sessions on approaching, greeting and respecting dogs.
  • Empathy-building activities that explain canine body language and consent-based interaction.
  • Teacher resource packs so lessons can be repeated without club attendance.
  • Supervised, entirely voluntary demonstrations with calm, assessed club dogs.
